Jason Wu Spring 2011-New York Fashion Week

My dear RedPoppies I am back! And boy have I had quite the large load of New York Fashion Week shows to flip through and review. For the most part I've enjoyed the light, easy, and ladylike silhouettes and color palettes on the Spring 2011 runways, but it can often feel like flipping through look after look of whites, beiges, and neutral tones when my eye is aching for a splash of color somewhere in that sea of nondescript blah. On the upside there are lots of layering pieces, elegant blouses with large neck-tie bows, slim trousers, demure silk dresses with below-the-knee lengths, and lots of strappy-heeled sandals. So after sifting through most of the current runway show lineup here are some of the collections that I particularly loved, including ones which look to be inevitable hits come next Spring.
So let's start off with Jason Wu's beautifully detailed collection...of which I can't get enough of!!!!

Hmmm, i think this makes her look fat...
