RedPoppy proudly supports September as Thyroid Cancer Awareness Month which is sponsored worldwide by ThyCa: Thyroid Cancer Survivors’ Association. A few important facts to know: Thyroid cancer is the most common endocrine cancer, and one of the few cancers that has increased in incidence rates over recent years. What I also didn't know is that Thyroid cancer is more common in younger people, and nearly two-thirds of those diagnosed with thyroid cancer are between the ages of 20 and 55. Post surgery thyroid cancer patients are left with a scar across the neck area, and today's post is dedicated to providing some fashion options, if needed, on the road to recovery. My pick for some chic and affordable options? Forever 21!

It seems very common in young women :( My mom had a friend who had a tumor when she was young. It went undetected for some time & permanently damaged her thyroid.
Thanks for posting this
Thanks everyone!
