I've come across some very pretty earrings for a lovely summer night, or day. Best part is they cost $45 or less. Available now on BananaRepublic.com

Pink and Red
I absolutely love pink and red together. The combination is absolutely gorgeous, like redheads and pink cotton candy all in one!

Isla Fisher Redhead
I absolutely adore the redheadedness that is Isla Fisher. The super petite actress, who at 33 looks more like a bouncy 18 yr-old, is the very pretty Aussie fiancee of British actor/always in character comedian Sacha Baron Cohen, aka Borat/Bruno/Ali G. Isla Fisher most recently made a big screen splash in the movie Confessions of a Shopaholic (and to be honest her Patricia Field- styled wardrobe and redhead perkiness were the only things keeping me from falling asleep thanks to a very lame script which would have been much better off left undisturbed as a book series by Sophie Kinsella). But I digress.... Isla also knows how to make her glorious red mane the spotlight at every event, thanks to amazing redhead color choices both in clothing and makeup. If you happen to be reading this Isla, RedPoppy wants to be your friend!!........

Emma Watson for Teen Vogue
Best known to fans as overachieving Hermione Granger in the smashingly successful Harry Potter films, British actress Emma Watson has also carved out quite a modelling career for herself as evidenced by her latest photoshoot for Teen Vogue, wearing some gorgeous designer frocks and looking the envy of fashionistas everywhere. Earlier this year the very mature 19 year old Brit looked super chic in a belted trench coat for Burberry's Fall 2009/10 Ad campaign, and even earlier than that Emma looked positively model-esque in drool-worthy couture for Vogue Italia's September spread. Is there nothing she can't do well?

RedPoppy and Tori Spelling at Fashion Week
Yours truly RedPoppy had the pleasure of helping Tori Spelling adjust the fit of her flirty scarlet Betsey Johnson dress for her New York Fashion Week debut in The Heart Truth's Red Dress Collection 2009 runway show back in February. All the fun was documented for Tori's reality show on Oxygen called "Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood, " which aired last night and contains a few clips of your favorite redhead (that's me) in action. The blink and you'll miss me but nevertheless exciting moment in the following preview comes at the 00:20 point, so set your finger on the pause button and enjoy!

Redheads Can Wear Pink!
Redheads look incredible, and gorgeously rosy, in pink.
Though these photos may not be new, so far no ad campaign has captured the redhead/rose effect more perfectly than model Karen Elson for Donna Karan's Resort 2008 campaign. Perfection!

Royal Ascot
As one of the best known racing events on the British social calendar, Ascot is to the U.K. what the Kentucky Derby is to the U.S. Never mind the horses though, Royal Ascot is all about Hats and being a milliner myself I couldn't be more excited to see the daring fashion statements made throughout Ascot last week. Traditionally speaking, Royalty and celebrities alike try to outdo each other with who can wear the biggest and often the most horrifying millinery confection, especially at Ladies' Day at Ascot. Unfortunately thanks to the recession, several racegoers recycled their hats from years past, and many fashionable hats seemed to be on the slightly smaller side. Most heads, however, did not disappoint.
Redhead Princess Beatrice and her sister Princess Eugenie (aka Beetroot and Aubergine as my family prefers to call them) were all fancy headpieces and fascinators, though at times they looked like they were wearing actual vegetables on their heads. Though I was disappointed with The Queen's choice of a mostly boring sunflower-yellow hat on opening day at the races, Prince Charles' wife Camilla Duchess of Cornwall looked loveliest in an upturned cream straw Philip Treacy hat, alongside a crisp and traditionally top hat-clad Prince Charles.
