Chanel Spring 2012


The beginning of October ushered in the ending to spring Fashion Week in Paris as Karl Lagerfeld made an inspired splash with an oyster-fresh collection for Chanel Spring 2012. As per Mr. Lagerfeld's generous custom there was an infinite amount of looks, 85 to be exact. There were gorgeous boxy suits in light geometric tweeds, short ruffled chiffon skirts strutted like pretty peacocks, and thick shimmery knit fabrics in fresh modern shapes... That's it! - Almost all the looks felt so fresh and modern, which is a modern day miracle in this often times repetitively stale world of fashion....
