I really can't wait to see the new Isabel Toledo exhibit at the Fashion Institute of Technology's Museum in New York city. The Cuban-born American clothing designer, whose husband is the artist and genius Fashion Illustrator Ruben Toledo of the amazing Nordstrom ads, is known for her strong structured designs and most recently for outfitting First lady Michelle Obama in a yellow brocade Inauguration Day suit. Harper's Bazaar, along with Nordstrom as exhibit sponsors, gives a stunning pictorial preview in its June issue, including the designer herself in some very unusual, but very artistic, makeup.
