Black Friday Sales 2011 & Happy Thanksgiving!

Between Macy's big day parade, Lord & Taylor's 20% OFF Savings, and Bloomingdales' brown bagging sales, it's no wonder my head is usually spinning by the time Thanksgiving comes around. As most of you benign shoppers know, Black Friday sales after Thanksgiving have the power to turn perfectly nice shops into tornado-hit carnivals. So besides rustling through old tear sheets of turkey and brussel sprout recipes, I must also seriously contemplate the morning after Thanksgiving question - Will I or will I not actually hop onto the subway at 6am, destination H&M, where I am hopeful to snatch up a sale coat or ten? 'Tis the eternal question then, do I risk my sanity and zen?...

I shall keep you posted!

The Best of VERSACE for H&M

From all recent designer collaborations for Swedish giant H&M, this one feels pretty darn authentic. Designer Donatella Versace dove head first deep into the Versace archives to bring back loads of iconic design details and prints from the best of the fashion house including gold button fastenings, metal mesh fabrics, palm trees, and animal prints. Just look at those little pleated skirts, I want them all! The colorful collection also features some home products so your home will not feel left out. Coming to selected H&M stores near you on November 19th!

Lanvin Hearts H&M Fashion Show

Everything was gone by 8:45am. Yep, I was afraid that would happen. H&M's once in a lifetime Lanvin partnership collection came and went as soon as it hit select stores across the U.S on saturday morning. But it's no use crying over spilled clothing racks. Lanvin designer Alber Elbaz launched the entire collection in NYC to some very lucky and altogether fancy friends the other night, so let's take a longing look at the gorgeous collection as it was before it was all snatched up...

Yes it's true! H&M is teaming up with luxury label LANVIN for a luxe Fall collaboration due to hit stores on November 20th. Can you imagine the massive dust cloud, in the wake of lonely and empty racks, after every single LANVIN item is snatched up?
