Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Fall 2012: New York

To kick off NYC's uber exciting Fashion Week events, I attended the fabulous IFB bloggers conference where I got to meet so many amazing fellow bloggers and writers. Fashion inspiration was everywhere and it was a perfect segue into the runway collections which arrived yesterday at Lincoln Center. -BCBG Max Azria offered a sort of 'Groundhog Day' collection focused around some familiar looking color-blocked dresses, while design duo Costello Tagliapietra showed their love and mastery of prints. More affordable diffusion lines such as 10 Crosby Derek Lam and Jil Sander Navy debuted clean and chic pieces, and yet the highlight so far was without a doubt Creatures of the Wind's fantastical collection (the majority of which I loved) which looked richly constructed, super colorful, and full of redhead model love!
