Bond No. 9 Astor Place

Bond No. 9, the perfumery located in New York's NoHo neighborhood and whose fragrances are sold at Saks Fifth Avenue and London's Harvey Nichols, has created The Bond No.9 collection of 34 scents in 34 individually designed bottles in homage to the great city of New York and each of its iconic neighborhoods.

Now I have to admit, the usual fragrances wafting out of the NY subway grates and street corners and into my nose are most commonly those of vomit, beer, and pizza, so I am really looking forward to the new Astor Place perfume with its notes of Violet Leaf, Mandarin Zest, Freesia, and Red poppy buds! Bond No. 9 is also responsible for leading the first ever recycling program initiative in the fragrance industry, encouraging customers to bring in any and all perfume bottles (and they don't have to be Bond bottles) to Bond No. 9 fragrance counters or stores. Now that's definitely eco-chic....
