Vogue Fashion Night Out PARIS Edition!

Bonjour from beautiful and quaint Paris!! I arrived here just a few days ago and even though I have yet to sample a baguette and coffee only the French know how to make, so far I've enjoyed navigating my way through the Metro, a beautiful sunset walk along the Seine, the sparkling magic of the Eiffel Tower lit up at night, and the jolly atmosphere of busy cafes filled with melodic French chatter. Of course one massive highlight was last night's Paris version of Fashion Night Out which simultaneously took place in New York and all across the globe. As I pushed my way through the throngs of fashionable looking people I could just make out the official VOGUE mini car and CHLOE truck making their way down Rue Saint- Honore, one of Paris' most haute and stylish streets. Hundreds of leather jacket and sunglasses clad fashionistas lined the pavements waiting for entry into participating FNO stores such as Dolce & Gabbana, Lanvin, Alberta Ferretti (thank you for the fab polaroid souvenir of moi), Moncler, Paul Smith, Hugo Boss, and so many others. I managed to use my RedPoppy clout for swift entry into many of the in-store parties and entertainment, however stores like Chanel and Givenchy insisted on keeping to a strict exclusive invitation only policy via burly door bouncers with one word vocabularies: FERME (closed).....
Here are some of my personal snaps of the fashion in action. Until next time, au revoir!! xoxo

I can't decide if I more bitter or less bitter after reading this, haha. I am definitely jealous that you got to spend FNO in Paris. After reading that Chanel was invite only, I don't feel as bad that I couldn't go to Seattle's bigger events (too expensive). I do wish people would dress up a little more here, but in Seattle, that's asking a lot.
