VOGUE Paris has done its very own tour of Los Angeles and the results are a 64-look polaroid pictorial of the many different types of people and characters who make up L.A.'s unique glamorous culture. I'd love to post more images but it's been one crazy week and I seem to have run out of time, so here are some of the great suburban housewife shots I hope you enjoy, and in the meantime I hope you have a lovely restful weekend! xo RedPoppy

GOLDEN GLOBES 2011 RedPoppy Carpet
The gilded city of Los Angeles was aflutter with celebrity gifting suites and swag bags this past weekend in anticipation of the Golden Globe Awards, where celebrities of the big and small screens came together last night to receive ridiculously chosen awards based on popular yearbook photos. I also happened to be in L.A. this past weekend, glorious land of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, where I slathered on high factor sunscreen in the almost 80F sunshine, making sure to fly out early on Sunday to avoid the golden limousine rush hour later on.
From behind dark Michael Kors shades I could see and hear the traffic of awards season scattered around the city all weekend long, spotting eager celebrities stumbling out of grand gifting suites clutching bags upon bags of free swag, and I couldn't help but wonder the ironic: Why do we spend our small hard earned money to gift the very people who can afford to buy out our entire stock of wares?! It makes absolutely no sense ...But I digress. More importantly we are here to look at the colorful fashions which graced the Golden Globes Red Carpet tonight where all sorts of pretty peach gowns, ambitious party frocks, and disappointing disasters mingled together under one sun. So let's take a look at some of my favorite fashions picks, as well as the goodness awful ones....
